Abstract
The existance of
paleovolcanoes closely asociated with natural resources either minerals
resources, rocks and groundwater potential. Paleovolcanoe of Pangkajene
identified by the presence of the lava domes, especially Bulu Seppang and Bulu
Batualong located in Bua’e areas, Sidrap. This Study aims to identify the
subsurface rocks Bulu Seppang and Bulu Batualong based on resistivity
properties. The method used is a literature study and measurement of
geoelectric resistivity Wenner configuration. Measurement of geoelectic
resistivity measurement carried out on two lines. From the measurement result
obtained geoelectric resistivity value of each lines from 0,094 – 118,21 Ohm.m
and 1,505 – 34,07 Ohm.m. Subsurface rocks interpretation result based on
resistivy profile obtained the first layer is the most under estimated in the
form of sandstone and mudstone Walanae Formation members with resistivity
values <5 font="" nbsp="" ohm.m="">5>the ignimbrite unit on
second layer with resistivity values 5 – 40 Ohm.m and basal unit for third
layer with resistivity values 40> Ohm.m.
